This school is amazing, great teachers who not only care about the students but about the parents as well. They do not suspend kiddos based on running usually there is a significant reason to suspend.

Another thing I'd like to mention too, is that the last time i asked what happened prior to my son hitting another student, she said that other kids were stepping on him and over him. Now as a person with a big personal space sensitivity i understand where my son picks this up, but i dont understand how he's in trouble for not letting kids walk all over him...

My son's attending this school for kindergarten. He's only been in school for roughly 3 weeks now and is already being threatened with suspension. The teacher says for flipping other kids off and hitting. Understandable. However, the only place he seems to have this problem is at the school. In addition, hitting also is an understandable problem, but when asked what are they doing to help, the response is " keep your hands to yourself". I'm obviously not the perfect parent here, however both my babysitter and I talk to my son and walk him through the feelings he's going through as well as the trigger instead of leaving it at 'keep your hands to yourself'. They would rather isolate him from other kids during recess, than talk to him. They ask how we address issues at home and dont address in the same way. what would be the point in asking then?

My daughtet goes here and has had some amazing teachers. We have had a little problem with bullys that was taken care of quickly, and other than that she has flourished under their care. From kindergarten until 2nd grade (so far) it has been amazing. Not all teachers are amazing of course but they definitely outweigh the bad.

This school is trash with maybe one or two good teachers. I'm pulling my son from this school as well.

Again, I'm not a perfect mother, but I definitely communicate with my son and his responses are very intelligent given the opportunity, so i dont believe for one second this is entirely on us.

Some teachers just shouldn't be teachers but I give it to the nss teachers they are soooo amazing. Those teachers are what they went to the occupation for to help and be that teacher kids can look up to.

my now 9 year old sister was bullied for a year at this school, poked with pens, gum in her hair, attacked by bigger kids, until she was pulled because no one would do anything about it.

Really ghetto and not good teachers unfriendly staff in the middle of the gheetto but they have a nice pricaial

So as it stands now, he's soon to be suspended, at 5 years old.
